Correlation of Ethnic Characteristics and Stability of Political
Systems: Primordial and Evolutionary Aspects
Pavel V. Ivanov Russian Presidential Academy of National
Economy and Public Administration, Moscow
This study
examines the interdependence of primordial elements of human
behavior that affect political, structural and institutional
processes. These in turn affect the stability of political
systems, especially in heterogeneous societies. The author
proposes a solution to this challenge, and introduces a new
descriptive term for subsequent academic research. This work
is a brief theoretical description conveying the author’s
vision for a resolution.
